Most toys are sealed shut. This one isn't.
The Makkin Wind-Up Motor Kit is designed to be taken apart. Pop it open and you'll find a real working wind-up mechanism — a twisted elastic, a ratchet clutch, and a set of bearings — all visible, all replaceable, all there to be figured out by a curious kid with time on their hands.
Wind it up, set it down, and watch it go. Or take it apart first. Either way works.
The kit includes everything you need to build your first Makkin vehicle: a wind-up motor, 4 wheels with rubber tires, 4 brackets, and all the hardware to bolt it together. All you need to bring is a cardboard box.
We included extra elastics and bearings to replace the ones you inevitably lose under the couch!
